Inspired by the wild beauty of Madeira.

 Some projects have a story of their own. This collection was born in Madeira and, from the very beginning, it was much more than a series of illustrations.

It all started with hand-drawn compositions created with special markers on terracotta tiles for an international client. Inspired by Madeira’s birds and lush vegetation, these artworks were later filled with colourful resin, transforming them into decorative pieces.

However, life had an unexpected turn in store for this project. For personal reasons, the client had to leave Madeira permanently, leaving behind the beginnings of a collection and a lasting memory of our creative collaboration.

Although the project’s original form came to an end, its story did not. On the contrary, it became the starting point for something entirely new.

The illustrations inspired by Madeira’s unique wildlife evolved into original surface patterns designed for textiles, fashion, and wallpaper. What was once created for terracotta tiles found a new purpose and new possibilities.

Today, the collection continues to grow and evolve. It has been given another life through its inclusion in a project for Zero Club, which will soon promote alcohol-free beverages.

This journey is a reminder that creativity knows no boundaries and that meaningful projects can find their own path, even when life takes them in an unexpected direction.
