Treasures from nature - Mango
Mango. This wonderful, juicy fruit from India has also reached on Madeira Island.
And here, on this island, they charmed me with their taste and variety in appearance.
In fashion's design, apart from their traditional shapes, we can see a very trendy style, namely paisley.
The round shape of the mango tapering downwards inspired Indian designers to create a stylized pattern.
He was a symbol of prosperity and abundance that also reached in Europe in the 17th century.
This pattern settled in the high society and then became popular all over the world.
This fruit, rich in vitamin c and folic acid, is also a good known in the kitchen ( dhal with mango and lentils are delicious!!!) and in the Hindu religion,
where one of the goddesses - Ambika - presents herself sitting under a mango tree.
In Hinduism, the mango held by Ganesha is a symbol of achieve the goal.
The leaves attested to the decorative motifs of vaults and doors in Hindu homes.

Moving on to the merits, I created collections of mango designs in the lead role.
I wanted to capture the beauty of the juicy colors of this fruit and the wonderful effect of watercolor paints.
I contrasted it mainly with the dark background to further enhance the color of the fruit.
